Uruguayan Chivito

This spectacular sandwich has everything !! It is super delicious and very easy to make. Since I first saw it I wanted to do it on my grill and now that I have tried it it has become a favorite.

Hello everyone, today I bring you this bestial Uruguayan sandwich that will leave you drooling.

In this recipe the amounts depend on the amount of sandwiches you want to eat and how big you want to make them.

Ingredients

Sirloin or any cut of beef that is tender

Enough strips of bacon or bacon

Sliced ham

Sliced Gouda cheese

Lettuce

Tomato

Parsley

Mayonnaise

Loaf of bread

Eggs

Preparation

Start by seasoning the meat with salt and pepper on both sides.

Chop the parsley very small, mix it with the mayonnaise and reserve.

Now chop the vegetables, the lettuce in julienne strips and the tomatoes in slices. If you have a wireless thermometer this is the time to use it.

Turn on the grill and add a piece of apple wood to add more flavor. We will make the Sirloin over indirect heat until reaching 60° internal which will give us a meat at the point less. If you want it more done, you can go up to 65 or 70°, don't overdo it much more because you will lose all the juices.

With 3 or 4 ° left to reach the ideal temperature, put the meat on direct heat to create a wonderful crust. Remove the meat and let it rest for 20 minutes. Meanwhile and taking advantage of the fact that you have the grill on, mark the bacon over direct heat and then finish it over indirect heat and why not fry your egg on the grill.

Cut the meat into thin slices and now we have all the ingredients ready. Spread the bread with a parsley mayonnaise and start the assembly, lettuce, tomato, slices of juicy meat, Gouda cheese (which we have melted with the torch), a lot of bacon (we forgot the ham), and on top of it the cherry on the cake, egg.

Close your sandwich and enjoy!

As we always say:
